In this second installment of the 'Book of Whispers' series, Tasha resumes her search for the Raven, wanting nothing more than to be rid of the book that until now, has brought only misery. She and her faithful companions, Gid and Dom, find themselves travelling to a distant world where she is surrounded by strange new people, customs and -- creatures. To make matters worse, Tasha begins to realize that the answers she is looking for may be held by the very creature that is hunting them. Can she make peace with this new enemy and find the Raven, or will this place simply be the end of her and her friends?
