The Bench Beside Mine: A Steamy Single-Dad MM Romance

He came for his son’s soccer practice. He wasn’t prepared for the dad beside him.

Peter Lyle has signed the forms, read the rules, and arrived twenty minutes early. He has also bought his ex-wife’s coffee again. Fourteen months after their divorce, some habits are proving harder to break than others.

Then Dev Malhotra takes the empty seat.

Forty, broad-shouldered, and entirely too comfortable with their thighs touching, Dev drinks the unwanted coffee and makes Peter laugh. Soon Peter is saving him a cushion. Dev is finding excuses to text. And when they’re recruited to coach their sons’ team together, three afternoons a week become a very dangerous routine.

Peter has known he’s bisexual for years. Knowing what to do with a man who wants him this much is another matter.

Dev is delighted to help.

Between rain-soaked almost-kisses, Wednesdays without the kids, and the discovery that the quiet accountant has a commanding side, neither man is thinking much about keeping his distance. But Peter has spent years making himself useful instead of asking for what he wants. Dev is so afraid of being left behind that he’s already planning the future.

Their sons are becoming friends. The entire sideline is watching. And falling in love is about to demand something harder than wanting each other: saying what they mean.

The bench only has room for two. Their lives are considerably more complicated.

The Bench Beside Mine is a very steamy standalone MM romance featuring two bisexual single dads, opposites-attract chemistry, affectionate humor, praise kink, and a hopeful, committed happy ending. No cliffhanger.
