The Bald Parrot

The story follows Pedrito, a parrot who lives among a cheerful flock in the wild and later becomes a domestic pet after being nursed back to health by a family. Despite his antics and friendly nature, Pedrito's curiosity leads him to encounter a tiger during a flight, resulting in a close brush with death where he loses all his tail feathers. This embarrassment causes Pedrito to retreat into hiding until his feathers grow back. He eventually emerges, regains his confidence, and helps the family's master hunt down the tiger that once attacked him. The tale concludes with Pedrito back in the comforts of his home, displaying his resilience and serving as a source of amusement for the family, illustrating themes of bravery, resilience, and humor.
