When a comet crashes into the Delmock Forest, Darfan County is thrown into a panic as news of livestock thefts, kidnappings, and bandit attacks spreads like wildfire.

The isolated town of Oakhill has no idea what these rumours are about until one cold autumn night when they wake up to discover the distant rumours are true. Thomas, a lone hunter seeking recognition, joins the makeshift band sent to Delmac to put a stop to these events.
