Tea-Table Talk (1903) is a thoroughly delightful witty piece of early Edwardian social satire. It showcases Jerome K. Jerome's incredible talent for capturing the breezy, superficial, yet deeply entertaining banter of high-society drawing rooms.

Structured as a series of drawing-room dialogues between various archetypal characters; such as the Philosopher, the Woman of the World, the Minor Poet, and the Old Maid; as they sit around the afternoon tea table.
