Tarzan and the Ant Men: Shrunk to the Scale of a Hand

Tarzan crashes his plane among a people the size of a hand, is shrunk to their scale by their surgeons, and has to live under laws made for creatures that weigh an ounce. Burroughs wrote it in 1924 and used the miniature kingdom to satirise everything from feminism to militarism, then let the ape-man walk out of it. Meanwhile Esteban Miranda, the Spaniard who once passed himself off as Tarzan, is still alive in the jungle.
