Sunshine and the Scottish Warrior: A Medieval Journey Romance About a Hardened Clan Fighter Escorting an Optimistic Traveler Across the Untamed Highlands

The smell of damp heather and old stone hangs heavy over the Scottish Highlands. Ronan MacLeod moves through the mist like a ghost. He is a warrior with a cold heart and an iron will. His task is simple. He must escort Lady Elspeth Sinclair to her kin across dangerous land. It should have been a quick trip.

Elspeth is nothing like the grim man leading her. Her warm laughter and stubborn kindness hit Ronan’s silence at every turn. She finds beauty in the rugged hills where he only sees a place for an ambush. She trusts strangers while he waits for betrayal. Every mile they travel, she chips away at the walls he built to stay alive.

Bandits strike from the shadows. Old enemies from Ronan's past emerge to block their path. The pair is pushed into close quarters during life-or-death moments. A fierce attraction starts to pull at them both. Ronan is torn between his duty and the unexpected warmth growing in his chest. Elspeth is risking her safety and her heart on a man who only knows how to protect.

They are caught in a land where a soft heart is a liability. The shadows are closing in on them.

Can a bright soul truly change a man made of stone?

Discover the world of the Grumpy Highland Lairds, where fierce warriors meet the women brave enough to melt their stubborn hearts.

Across the wild Scottish Highlands stand lairds men whisper about. Hard men. Scarred from old fights, iron-willed, their tempers colder than the mountain wind. They rule stone castles and stubborn clans with quiet authority and watchful eyes. Love never figured into the plan. Not once. Yet life keeps placing bright-hearted women on their paths. Women who laugh too easily, who walk through echoing halls while rain taps the windows and hearth smoke curls in the air. Where these grim warriors expect silence and obedience, the women bring warmth, teasing smiles, and a kind of light the castles have long forgotten. And before long, the fiercest lairds in the Highlands face a struggle no sword can win letting their hearts yield.
