ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK

"The Miniaturist" by Jessie Burton is set in 17th-century Amsterdam, where young Nella Oortman arrives as a bride to a wealthy merchant, Johannes Brandt. Her new life is not what she expects, and she quickly realizes that the Brandt household is full of secrets and complex relationships.
