#1 Dallin and his girlfriend, Michelle, were sent to check on the house. They rang the doorbell five times, but no one answered. They went to the garage and saw Travis’s car.

#2 Travis’s friends were worried about him. They went to his house to check on him, but found it empty. It was unlike Travis to not respond to numerous emails and phone calls. They thought he might have gone out of town suddenly.

#3 The house smelled terrible, and Dallin noticed that the dog’s bowl was full of food. He checked each downstairs room, flicking on lights. In the living room, on top of the couch, two tall bar stools rested on their sides.

#4 When Dallin and Zachary entered the room, they saw a pool of blood on the floor. Travis had been stabbed, and his throat had been cut. He was naked and curled up in the shower.
