#2 Nell had a good day at the meadow, and she was excited to show Adam the tunnel was suitable for hibernating bats. She took a selfie by the gate. Then she texted Adam: Crawled through about 20 hedges today. Plus, badger sett right in the brambles.

#3 Nell, a archeologist, was exploring a cave when she heard a noise. She froze. It wasn’t just a response to the deep-in-the-bones coldness. Or the dark. Or being alone. She was used to all that.
