#1 Sexual difficulties are extremely common. Many women around the world and across ages have difficulty reaching orgasm. Sex is often unrewarding for many women.

#2 The most common sexual complaint among women is a lack of sexual interest, which is endorsed by 32 percent of the youngest age group (eighteen to twenty-nine years old) and 27 percent of the oldest age group (fifty to fifty-nine years old).

#3 The Global Study of Sexual Attitudes and Behaviors, which was conducted in twenty-nine countries, found that women in North Africa and the Middle East, East Asia, and Southeast Asia were more likely to experience problems with sexual interest, inability to reach orgasm, painful sex, not finding sex pleasurable, and difficulties with lubrication.

#4 The most common sexual complaint among women is low sexual desire, which is consistent with the fact that half of women report at least one sexual concern lasting three months or longer over the previous year.
