#1 The police radioed that a cop had shot a civilian. Someone from Civil Rights made the scene. They’d done a lot of these investigations together, too many, and too often in the middle of the night.

#2 After the walk-through, Smyth went straight to the jail and demanded the tape from the 911 dispatchers. He had a strong feeling that the tape would be important, and evidence of murder.

#3 Susan White was a happy child, but she was also a special one. She seemed to have inherited her mother’s slim figure, fine features, and blue eyes. She was doted on by her parents.

#4 The Harrison sisters were extremely close, and they never really had any rivalries or sibling one-upmanship. They were always content with their place in the world, until Susan felt frustrated and wanted more out of life.
