#1 Backstage at London’s Wembley Arena, Dr. Ruja Ignatova was nervously pacing up and down, dressed in a full-length ball gown. #2 Ruja, the creator of OneCoin, designed it to be bigger than Bitcoin. She promised that it was faster, smoother, and easier to use. She predicted that workers would get their wages in OneCoin. Buy their shopping in OneCoin.

#3 On October 1, 2016, Ruja doubled the value of each coin from €5. 95 to €10. The crowd went wild. It didn’t matter that she was breaking rule 101 of economics: when the supply of something goes up, the price goes down.

#4 Konstantin was arrested at the airport as he was boarding a flight to the U. S. He was brought to an interrogation room, where he was questioned about his sister, Ruja Ignatova. He knew all the rumors and excuses, and said he didn’t know where she was.
