#3 The Great Seal is the most important American icon. It was created by Jefferson, Adams, and Franklin, who were all members of the committee that created the Declaration of Independence. The eagle on the front of the seal represents the strength of America.

#4 The seal of the United States is a representation of the American people, and it symbolizes that the American people are not just a concept but a product of a people.
