#2 My father, Edgar, was a die caster at Buss Machine Works in Holland, Michigan, who in 1965 sold the company to create Prince Manufacturing. He had to borrow $10,000 from his mother to support his family.

#3 My father, Ed Prince, founded Prince Manufacturing in 1969. It began producing machines to make machines, but eventually began creating products of its own. In 1972, he invented a lighted mirror sun visor for Cadillac, and began designing interior consoles for cars.

#4 My father’s road trip around the world changed him. He became obsessed with his physical fitness, and he was responsible for the welfare of his employees. He sent planes from the company fleet to pick up salespeople at distant meetings so they’d be home in time for family dinners.
