#1 The song Anything Goes by Cole Porter is a perfect example of how the moral relativism that has infected our culture has led to the West on the brink of spiritual collapse.

#2 Porter was a prime example of how the culture in America has become extremely decadent. He was extremely alone at the end, and he never found the strength that came from faith in God.

#3 The Bible anticipated that decadent times like our present age would come. In speaking of His second coming, the Lord Jesus said, But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be (Matthew 24:37).

#4 The doctrine of depravity has to do with God’s estimation of man, not man’s estimation of man. We are the heirs of generations of the teaching of evolution which sees man in an ever-ascending spiral, rising higher and higher from the depth from which he has sprung.
