#1 The futurist believes that everything in chapters 4–22, except for a few signs that are clearly identified as such, talks about future events. Jesus told John to write the things he had seen, and the things that would happen after this.

#2 The book of Revelation is about Jesus Christ. It is a letter of pain and hope, wrath and love, and judgment and grace. It is about the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the powerful Lion of Judah, and the spotless sacrificial Lamb.
