The Lord expands through many reaching hands,

As life populates all the seas and lands;

Through social laws and sacrifice’s flame,

The world is governed in the Maker's name.

Young Dhruva stands upon a single toe,

Until the forest feels his spirit glow;

King Prithu milks the earth to feed the fold,

And turns the barren dust to stalks of gold.
