The final lesson is to let things go,

And watch the river of the senses flow;

To find the self beyond the body’s cage,

Is the highest wisdom of the quiet sage.

The Yadu line departs the earthly shore,

As Krishna prepares to close the golden door;

He leaves to Uddhava the final light,

To guide the world through Kali’s coming night.
