Scarlet Knightess

With her training finished, Healer Kel takes on corruption by rescuing an enslaved giant, before a soaring glid snatches her away to its hiding place. There, lying helpless before Kel's feet is the mercenary known as Scarlet Knight, presumed to be a man and who refuses to speak. But the Knightess cannot keep her identity from the healer for long, especially when she has a loudmouth, gadget-making dim as her sidekick, small in size but with a large passion for marketing.

When Mara was young, a glid came to her rescue, coating her with the protective armor normally reserved for their offspring. She put it to good use building her fearsome reputation. Now it was time to return to the kingdom and face her ruthless father, King of Aurrea. She and the healer venture across land and over water, teaming up with an obnoxious dim, a scholarly giant, and one disillusioned political figurehead. What they find upon arrival leaves Mara in disbelief.

With no other options, they must face an army, and the ragtag group might stand a fighting chance, if they can convince the dim and giants to stand together, or take to the skies atop glids. How else could they hope to save the territories?
