Scales of Destruction

The scales of Fate have never tipped in my favor.

You'd think years of running and fear would overwhelm me when the monster hunting me makes his move. You'd think I'd lose hope when he rips me away from my mates and the first taste of safety I've had in years.

But Malcolm should know better than anyone that dragons don't break . . . we get revenge.

And mine is so fiery and epic that the whole world gets a front row seat. In escaping one predator, I've created thousands more as dragons and shifters are revealed to the world, and the revelation makes my mates even more determined to do whatever it takes to keep me safe.

Raiden, Stone, and Kodiak are dangerous, but so is the rest of the world. And unlike them, it doesn't know the meaning of the word mercy.

With humans and shifters alike calling for our blood, I don't know if I'll ever find the peace I crave . . . not when the scales of fate have tipped toward destruction.
