Sati’s Sacrifice

Daksh Prajapati organized a massive yajna and invited all the Gods and rishis except his daughter, Sati, and son-in-law Bhagwaan Shankar.

When Sati found out about her father’s yajna, she wanted to go. Shivji advised her not to go since they were not invited, however Sati did not heed his advice.

Daksh insulted Sati for joining the yajna without an invitation. He also used unsavoury language for his son-in-law, Bhagwaan Shankar.
