Ruled by Elf King: Forbidden Royal Romance Fated Bond

King Aetherion has enforced the Aether Court's ancient laws for centuries. The prohibition on fated bonds with humans isn't a suggestion. It's the foundation everything else rests on.

Then Elara stumbles into a sacred ritual, disrupts it in ways that can't be undone, and gets dragged before his throne. Their eyes meet. A magical spark ignites between them, uncontrolled and immediate, and suddenly the foundation has a crack running through it.

The bond strengthens whether he wants it to or not. Aetherion finds himself pulled toward a human woman with the kind of force that doesn't respond to iron will or centuries of discipline. Elara, dropped into court intrigue she wasn't prepared for, becomes simultaneously his most dangerous vulnerability and the one thing he can't afford to lose.

Around them, the sacred bond system is fracturing. A hidden conspiracy is moving inside the Court, patient and deliberate. Political enemies tighten their circle while stolen moments between Aetherion and Elara deepen into something neither of them can name cleanly or walk away from.

Every shared secret adds weight to what's between them. Every touch pulls the thread tighter. In a realm where this specific love is forbidden, their bond carries the capacity to either preserve the world they're standing in or bring it completely apart.

The crown he's worn for centuries, or the woman who rewrites everything he thought was fixed.

Will the Elf King choose duty, or surrender to the one bond he was never supposed to feel?
