Saffron Wilson is about to enter the world of fast food and aliens. Not for one moment did she think her ordinary life was about to change the minute she set foot in the new diner her parents bought.

One day everything was boring and then it happened! And something else too…there was this new girl in her Astronomy class, Clair Villeneuve, from Frankfurt. She carried with her a strange set of skills that seemed outside of the ordinary. Just what Saffron is looking for.

Soon the carnival Clair arrived in disappears and there is danger for the only one left behind.
