Riftfall: A High-Altitude Survival Romance

When the Rift tears open the sky, architect Lena Voss and mountain guide Kane Ryder are left dangling from a swaying construction crane high above a crimson prehistoric abyss. Tied together by a single lifeline, with bloodthirsty pterodactyls circling their precarious perch, the perfectionist and the rough-edged survivor have only each other to trust.

Three years earlier one night of heat ended in silence. Now forced proximity and constant danger strip away every wall. As the crane groans and the world below turns into a nightmare of ancient predators, the frantic fight for balance ignites something far more dangerous than fear. Attraction sparks into raw, breathless desire. Old wounds surface. Second chances become a matter of survival.

Every gust of wind threatens to send them into the drop. Every shared glance and charged touch raises the stakes higher. In a landscape where one wrong step means death, Lena and Kane must decide if the risk of falling for each other is greater than the fall itself.

Can two people who once walked away find solid ground together when the only thing left standing is the rope that binds them?

The sky cracked open in a blinding crimson haze and didn't close again.

The Rift Phenomenon took entire city blocks with it, pulling concrete, steel, and human lives millions of years backward into a prehistoric wild that has no interest in human survival. The beasts here are real and bloodthirsty, and the rules that kept people safe before the Rift don't apply to anything that exists now.

Trapped together in something that makes every previous conflict feel small, fierce enemies find the distance between them collapsing. There's no clean space to maintain it. Every heartbeat rings out in the jaws of extinction, and when death is that close and that loud, the boundaries that once defined the relationship stop holding.

What rushes in is raw, consuming, and forbidden by every standard that no longer exists here anyway. Passion at the end of the world doesn't wait for permission.

When the only thing left is each other and the sound of something enormous moving through the dark, surrender starts looking like the only honest choice.
