Interdisziplinäre Kooperationen zwischen Theologie und Erziehungswissenschaft sind heutzutage alles andere als selbstverständlich. [Reformation Today. Volume V: Conceptions of Humanity and Realities of Life] Interdisciplinary cooperation between theology and educational science is at present anything but self-evident. By contrast, the contributions of this volume illustrate how theological and pedagogical perspectives can mutually inspire and fruitfully complement each other in analyzing the transformation processes of the conceptions of humanity and of the realities of life in the Reformation period and their formative impacts on individual self-images and social structures in the modern era. The final volume of the series "Reformation Today" presents as usual a review of the reformatory constellations of the 16th century Reformation, explores then the historical impacts, and finally discusses the current challenges. Furthermore, the volume gives insights into current Protestant fields of practice in the areas of education, diaconia, and the church.
