Reclusive Mountain Orc: Small Town Cabin Romance Where City Baker Finds Unexpected Desire With Solitary Neighbor Guarding Quiet Wilderness Property

Elena Rivera never imagined starting over on a lonely mountain. Her city life falls apart almost overnight, and the only door left open is a forgotten inheritance: a weathered cabin perched on Frost Ridge above the quiet town of Briarwood Hollow.

The place promises space, silence, and time to rebuild.

For Elena, that’s enough.

She brings flour-dusted recipes, stubborn plans, and the hope of opening a small bakery down in the valley one day. Most mornings begin with cold air drifting through the pines and the smell of bread rising in the tiny cabin kitchen.

What she doesn’t realize is that someone is already watching the ridge.

Garruk lives deep in the surrounding forest, a solitary orc who prefers distance from the human world. The mountain suits him well predictable trails, quiet nights, and none of the tangled emotions people often bring.

Then Elena arrives.

Her laughter carries through the trees. Her lights glow warmly through the cabin windows at night. Slowly, without meaning to, she disrupts the careful solitude Garruk has built for himself.

And he notices.

Everything.

When a brutal winter storm sweeps across Frost Ridge, heavy snow traps them together high in the mountains. The distance between them begins to erode, one shared moment at a time.

Elena wakes instincts Garruk has kept locked away for years. Protective ones. Possessive ones that grow stronger each day.

But Elena didn’t come here to lose herself again. She came to build something steady a home, a future, maybe a bakery in the town below the ridge.

Letting the powerful orc into that life could cost her more than she expects.

Because once an orc decides someone belongs in his world, walking away becomes far more complicated.

And the mountain keeps pushing them closer.

Will Elena claim the life waiting on Frost Ridge or run before it claims her?

Welcome to Orcs of Briarwood Hollow.

Twenty years ago, something strange tore open the sky. People later called it the Riftfall. The event split thin seams between worlds, and a handful of powerful orcs stepped through before the tear sealed again.

Some chose to stay.

They settled quietly in the mountain town of Briarwood Hollow, building homes at the edge of the pines where cold wind rolls down the slopes. At first the humans watched from a distance, unsure what these newcomers might do.

The stories had been wrong.

The orcs weren’t the monsters whispered about in old tales. They became mechanics fixing stubborn engines, farmers turning dark soil, riders crossing rough trails, protectors who stand firm when trouble appears. Loyal to their people. Intense in ways humans rarely expect.

Life in Briarwood Hollow looks calm enough. Morning mist curls above the rooftops, and the scent of woodsmoke drifts along the main street. Yet tension simmers just beneath the quiet.

Especially when stubborn humans collide with possessive orcs who refuse to release what they claim.

Arguments start easily. So do long looks that linger too long.

Because in this small mountain town, love doesn’t arrive politely.

It crashes straight through the door and never leaves quietly.
