Racing Heat: High Speed Encounter With Alpha Driver

The ride-along was supposed to take an hour. Get in, get the story, get out.

Sienna Cole is careful by nature. She plans, she prepares, she keeps a professional distance from her subjects. Climbing into Kael Draven's high-performance race car felt manageable. Controlled, even.

Then the storm closed in.

Rain hits the windshield in solid sheets, visibility drops to nothing, and the mountain pass ahead becomes impassable. No rescue coming. No timeline for when that changes. Just Sienna, Kael, and the tight cockpit of a car built for speed that's going nowhere fast.

Kael is the kind of man who takes command without announcing it. On the track, that quality makes him exceptional. Stranded on a remote pass in the dark, it fills every inch of the small space between them. He's used to being in control. What he's not used to is caring what happens to the person beside him.

Sienna has spent years making sure she stays the one holding the pen, not the one being written about. She doesn't hand control to anyone. She's built her whole professional life around that rule.

Hours pass. The rain doesn't stop. The windows fog. And the careful distance Sienna keeps between herself and the rest of the world starts to feel less like protection and more like a habit she's tired of maintaining.

Two people, one small space, a storm with no interest in their boundaries.

Will Sienna let go, or will she file the story and call it research?

If you crave high-tension encounters, accidental intimacy, and dangerously addictive chemistry, step into the world of Dangerously Close, where one unexpected moment is all it takes to lose control.

Some encounters don't announce themselves. They just happen, and suddenly everything is different.

Dangerously Close is a collection of high-stakes steamy romances, each one built around a moment of collision: a storm rolls in, a door locks, a situation spirals past the point of easy exit. Strangers end up sharing the same tight space, the same crisis, the same silence pressing in from all sides. The kind of closeness that strips away small talk and skips straight to the nerve.

Every heroine here is new to this. Not naive, just unexplored - pushed past her usual edges by a man who reads the room faster than she does and doesn't look away. What kicks off as necessity, coincidence, or pure survival instinct shifts into something she didn't budget for. Intense. Real. Hard to close the door on.

The heat builds differently in each story. A car cutting through empty highway in the dead of night. Rain hammering a window while two people figure out there's only one room left. Urgency that strips the usual rules down to nothing.

Each book stands on its own. No need to read in order, no loose threads left hanging. But the thread that runs through all of them is the same: proximity changes people. Risk opens things up. And the moment everything tips? Neither of them saw it coming.

Every story is standalone. All of them will make you miss sleep.
