Persuasion

Persuasion is a novel written by Jane Austen, first published in 1817, posthumously. It tells the story of Anne Elliot, a young woman who finds herself at a crossroads in life. At the age of 27, Anne is unmarried and facing financial difficulties, living with her vain and selfish father, Sir Walter Elliot, and her older sister, Elizabeth.
