Now she is back in another major competition, fighting for the transformation of an abandoned Warsaw railway power station into a twenty-four-hour cultural center. The contract could change the future of her studio. Unfortunately, her strongest rival is Adrian Krawiec: talented, controlled, infuriatingly observant, and far too good at remembering details Marta would prefer he forgot.

When a hidden folder containing documents from the old competition is discovered inside the power station, professional rivalry becomes something far more dangerous. The evidence suggests that Marta’s past was not an accident. Someone manipulated the process. Someone knew more than they admitted. And Adrian has been carrying part of that history for years.

For two weeks, Marta and Adrian are forced to share the same building during overnight measurements from ten in the evening until four in the morning. They compete for the same contract while following the same trail of old documents, anonymous messages, altered cost estimates, archived emails, and people who chose silence when telling the truth would have cost them something.

Between dark industrial halls, technical drawings, bad coffee, sharp arguments, and nights that stretch far beyond work, attraction becomes increasingly difficult to separate from trust. Adrian may not be responsible for what happened to Marta seven years ago, but he is not entirely innocent either. Some truths he discovered too late. Others he was too afraid to reveal. And when closeness begins to matter more than either of them expected, every omission becomes more expensive.
