Orc Sheriff Protector: Lawman Romance Where Curious Journalist Sparks Dangerous Attraction While Investigation Pulls Reluctant Guardian Closer

Briarwood Hollow stays quiet under the shadow of the mountains. Journalist Elena Voss arrives to dig up rumors about the town's supernatural residents. Her investigation hits a wall named Thorne Blackthorn. He is the local orc sheriff and a massive, loyal lawman. He wants outsiders to stay away from the secrets of the Riftfall. The scent of pine needles and gun oil follows him everywhere.

Thorne tries to push Elena out of town. Instead, her curiosity leads them toward an otherworldly threat in the woods. He has to bring the stubborn reporter to his secluded cabin to keep her safe. The sound of rain tapping the glass fills the silence between them. His strict rules start to slip as they are forced together. Elena finds herself drawn to the fierce man behind the badge.

Danger is moving closer to the cabin door. Elena has a choice to make. She can write the story of her career or stay with the orc who won't let her go. In this town, an orc's claim is permanent. Their connection is a heavy risk for both of them. The shadows of the past are waiting to strike.

Will she choose the story or the guardian who claimed her?

Welcome to Orcs of Briarwood Hollow.

Twenty years ago, something strange tore open the sky. People later called it the Riftfall. The event split thin seams between worlds, and a handful of powerful orcs stepped through before the tear sealed again.

Some chose to stay.

They settled quietly in the mountain town of Briarwood Hollow, building homes at the edge of the pines where cold wind rolls down the slopes. At first the humans watched from a distance, unsure what these newcomers might do.

The stories had been wrong.

The orcs weren’t the monsters whispered about in old tales. They became mechanics fixing stubborn engines, farmers turning dark soil, riders crossing rough trails, protectors who stand firm when trouble appears. Loyal to their people. Intense in ways humans rarely expect.

Life in Briarwood Hollow looks calm enough. Morning mist curls above the rooftops, and the scent of woodsmoke drifts along the main street. Yet tension simmers just beneath the quiet.

Especially when stubborn humans collide with possessive orcs who refuse to release what they claim.

Arguments start easily. So do long looks that linger too long.

Because in this small mountain town, love doesn’t arrive politely.

It crashes straight through the door and never leaves quietly.
