The olive tree is native to the Mediterranean basin; wild olives were collected by Neolithic people as early as the 8th millennium BC. Today the olive and its oil represent a fundamental part of the Mediterranean, and particularly Spanish diet. Cold pressed virgin olive oil is a natural product that is very easy to digest.
