Off the Ice: A Steamy MM Hockey Romance

He knows how to win. He has no idea how to be loved.

Rafe Donnelly has built his career on three things: scoring goals, making people laugh, and never letting anyone see him hurt.

Then one bad play blows out his knee.

At twenty-seven, the Pittsburgh Sentinels' golden-boy winger is facing a second reconstruction, an expiring contract, and a documentary crew determined to turn his recovery into the comeback story of the year. Everyone wants him back on the ice by March. His surgeon has other ideas. And Rafe has never been particularly good at disappointing people.

Micah Voss knows exactly what happens when the cheering stops.

At thirty-six, the former defenseman has rebuilt his life around helping players survive the end of theirs. He's steady, controlled, frustratingly perceptive—and bound by a team contract that puts Rafe firmly off-limits.

When a broken elevator leaves Rafe stranded in a fifth-floor apartment, Micah offers him a spare room.

No stairs. No cameras. No expectations.

Just a quiet house, a few rules, and one dangerously attractive man who keeps asking how Rafe really feels.

It should be temporary.

Instead, late-night conversations become lingering touches. A spare bedroom starts feeling like home. And the line between caring for someone and falling for them becomes impossible to see.

But Rafe's entire future depends on getting back to the game, while Micah is risking everything he's worked to build. When the pressure becomes unbearable, they'll have to decide whether love means holding on—or finally learning when to let go.

OFF THE ICE is a high-heat MM hockey romance featuring forced proximity, a nine-year age gap, hurt/comfort, forbidden attraction, praise kink, found family, and two men learning that being wanted is very different from being needed.

Standalone romance. Guaranteed happily ever after.
