The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected area and a World Heritage Site. Based on fossil evidence, various hominid species have occupied the area for 3 million years. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera is a home of approximately 25,000 large African animals. Our eyes scatter at the variety we find at Ngorongoro.
