Never Give Up - The Story of Hassan Torabi

When Hassan Torabi arrived in Denmark as a refugee from Iran, he quickly became the big hope of the local wrestling club. When he participated in the first Danish reality TV show, the Danish version of “Survivor”, he became known throughout the country as the warm and helpful man who had taken a photo of his Indian guru with him on the island. And when the national TV channel DR2 broadcast the documentary “Hassan’s Hands”, he became known as the man who could give ill people new hope.

Now he is sharing the story about his life. About being a quiet and introverted child growing up in a country with revolution and executions. About the escape and meeting the Danes’ skeptical attitude to a man with dark hair and an accent. And about working with some of the biggest sports stars in the world, and a journey to India that changed his life.
