Set in present day, it told the story of serial killer Jasper David Wraith’s daring escape from All Saints Prison, with the help of two his infamous cellmates: the giant and silent “Smasher” and Nicky Scarpinato, AKA “The Christmas Cannibal”. The story of those notorious fugitives will continue in future episodes, but for now, we go back 25 years to tell the tale of how Dermot MacMurrough ended up behind bars.’
