This collection of short stories showcases the origins of several of Wodehouse's signature characters, including Jeeves, Bertie Wooster, and Reggie Pepper. Some of the stories were reworked and released in the collections Carry On, Jeeves, and The Man with Two Left Feet. ¶ The stories included are: "Leave It to Jeeves", "Jeeves and the Unbidden Guest", "Jeeves and the Hard-boiled Egg", "Absent Treatment", "Helping Freddie", "Rallying Round Old George", "Doing Clarence a Bit of Good", and "The Aunt and the Sluggard". ¶ There's nothing like a little Wodehouse to put some pep in your step. Bucks you up, don't you know!
