“You know what I am saying, Bruce. Why are you acting so confused and out of touch? You and I know very well that I am right here. You are ogling at me and I wonder why.”

“Well, is it wrong to ogle at one’s wife?”

“My goodness. You know, if it is not for two reasons, I am sure I would have enjoyed making you eat up your words.”

“What reasons are you talking about, Anita?”

“First, I am running late. Second, I am really running late.”

“That is just one reason that you have repeated twice over.”

“Yes. And that is to show you that I am really running late and do not have the time or luxury to engage with you on such an issue.”

“Then why not hurry along to work and stop reminding me of how late you are already.”

“You mean I should go out like this? Without a pair of leggings?”

“Why must you use those leggings? You look just fine to me.”

“Darling, should I have to remind you again that I work as a customer representative in a telecom company. And as a result I need to look gorgeous and decently dressed?”

“But you look decent in this attire of yours.”

She held her head and sighed. “Don’t tell me that I got married to a very old-fashioned husband. Please, don’t tell me.”

“Who are you talking to?”

“To the world, of course. How can you imagine such a thing? That a corporate woman like myself would not wear my leggings to go to work?”
