Wrapped up in helping for the holidays at her big brother’s bookstore–slash–coffee–shop, Abigail is somehow becoming entangled with her brother’s best friend, Jamie.

She’s known Jamie since the beginning of time, and he has always been annoying. So can anyone explain why she is starting to develop feelings for him? Why does her stomach fill with butterflies when he gives her that dopey look? How could she possibly fall for the guy who has always been a thorn in her side?

Sure, he’s grown into a pretty good looking guy, with really nice dimples. And, sure, he makes her laugh like they did when they were kids. But she never wanted to move back home permanently, and she never asked to get involved with the likes of Jamie Turner.

All Abigail really wants is to move back to the city and be an artist. At least, that’s what she thinks she wants.
