Miss Plympton's Peril

Miss Evangeline Plympton never thought she’d find herself in a situation like a heroine in one of the Gothic novels she so adores. But that’s exactly what happens when she goes to visit her titled relatives who are in search of an heiress for their son to marry. Evangeline is sure she’s being held prisoner. How fortunate to have a dashing neighbor like Edwin Hale to look to for rescue. In spite of what his sister insists, Edwin finds it hard to believe that the pretty Miss Plympton is in danger from Lord and Lady Bane, but things are starting to look suspicious over there at Deerfield Hall. Someone needs to come to the rescue. Or maybe someone simply needs to stop reading Gothic novels!
