After two years of no answer to who killed his family, joining the Organization and becoming a Hunter had brought Eric Redd nothing but misery and pain. But when an alluring demon calling herself Pearl inserts herself into his life with the promise of helping him get what he wants, he finds purpose to put himself in danger and grow more powerful.

With the stakes rising and Hell itself ready and willing to grind him into paste, he has to rely on his pact-bound demonic patron, Wight, to help him survive. Not all is as it seems, however, as their renewed focus also has the mysterious entity eager to push Eric to his limits in pursuing their dual growth.

His empowered revolver and granted powers can only solve so many problems alone. With Wight, Pearl, and the Organization now pulling him towards different goals, he has to decide who he can trust, and hope to make it out the other side with both his life and sanity intact.
