I’m stranded on North Sentinel Island.

The people here have violently rejected outside contact for thousands of years, so there’s no hope of rescue, even if someone - anyone - knew I was here.

The chief’s on my side – he’s the only person preventing Joro from killing me.

But he’s dying.
