Mark of Enemy Beast: Forbidden Bond Ties Rival Bloodlines to Warborn Creature Craving Her

Sigrid never planned to survive the raid. She did, but not cleanly. She wakes with a rune burned into her skin, still raw, still glowing. It ties her to Vargen, a warborn warrior from the clan that just destroyed her home.

He's the enemy. She knows that. He knows it too.

He should cut the bond and be done with her. Every instinct from his bloodline says to. But something older and harder pushes back, and Vargen finds himself standing between Sigrid and anyone who wants her dead.

The rune doesn't stay quiet. It pushes their thoughts together, bleeds one person's pain into the other. Cold air bites at them both during the long nights when neither can sleep and neither can look away. Every time they touch, the connection pulls tighter.

War breaks open between their clans. Sigrid's own people have already written her off. She's got no side left to fight for, only the man she was raised to hate and a bond she didn't ask for.

Vargen is running out of time. Holding onto her means losing everything his clan built. Letting her go means something worse, though he's not ready to name it yet.

Two enemies. One mark neither of them chose. And a war that wants them both on opposite sides.

Some bonds don't break, they just burn everything else down first.

But every legend of the North begins with a woman chosen for the beast no one else could survive.

Heavy snow muffles the sound of steel in the North. Viking warriors here carry a heavy burden. They are tied to legendary monsters. Each man is more dangerous than the last. These stories explore different beasts. One features a berserker who loses himself in a war-form. Another follows a wolf king in chains who only listens to one woman. You will also meet a creature marked by his enemies. He refuses to let go of his forbidden mate. There is a sea-born terror who takes what he wants from the waves. Finally, a doomed warrior faces a dark change. He might become something inhuman forever.

The air smells of salt and old iron. Power shifts constantly. Instincts clash when desire turns savage. You can read these stories in any order. They are all linked by blood and a sense of belonging. The ice is thin, and the hunger is real. Every warrior is on the edge of a total transformation.

Will they tame the beast or join the hunt?
