Eight people on a secluded weekend retreat in an idyllic Hawaiian canyon are tasked with creating a tropically-themed acrobatic circus that will tour the world.

But when the psychedelic show's visionary director is found stabbed to death in the sacred forest, a keen amateur sleuth and her assistant, a retired military officer, must unearth the suspects' lies and secrets to discover the shocking truth and unmask a killer.

The investigation is complicated by the use of archaic Hawaiian daggers, rooms in glass domes on the forest floor, hidden agendas, the ruins of an ancient island temple, and a brazen accusation that Pari herself bedded and killed the victim.

"Lurking on the High Wire” is the fourth novel in the Pari Malik Mystery series. It can be read as a stand-alone book or as part of the series.
