LOVELY K-9: A Prison Puppy

A feel-good dog story.

"I tried to be good, but I got bored."

"So, what if I grew up behind bars? It's not about where you start; it's all about the journey. Mine took me to Kandahar, where a sea of mines lies in wait under the hot Afghan desert. There, every car could be a bomb; every human your killer. The only thing standing between you and death is me, K-9 Lovely, scouring the desert to detect whatever hungers to kill you. I have the best nose in the business and the guts to match it."
