Living Freedom

Living Freedom could easily be retitled “Brokenness and Humility 101.” The focus of the entire study is a longing to be like Christ and in every way reflect his character. We will never do the works Christ did until we have His heart.

In our first workbook, Knowing Freedom, we examined the principles of biblical sanctification that lead to an increased measure of freedom in our lives. As stated in that book, Freedom is about being released to know and reflect Christ in abundance. This manual goes deeper into this theme, with a particular focus on the humility of Christ and the pride of humanity. Each chapter will concentrate on a specific aspect of humility, and be accompanied by a worksheet, to help break down a related stronghold that can manifest pride. Living Freedom is about allowing God to touch areas of our hearts and wills that need breaking or tenderizing. Lord, grant us greater depths of freedom and humility as we follow You in Your way!
