Trina Jones is a lawyer in an upscale New York law firm. Cassandra is a partner at the firm, meaning she is basically Trina's boss. The two are dating, but they have to keep it under wraps or it could compromise their careers.

Trina doesn't mind so much as she wants to be a fashion designer anyway and is looking to leave the firm behind for good. Cassandra, however, views her career as her prized possession and would never do anything to jeopardize her position.
