Last Berserker Oath: Doomed Warrior Fights Curse while Craving Woman Who Can End Him

The scent of salt spray clings to the cold stone walls of Eirik's hall. He is the last of the berserkers, a warrior losing himself to the beast-oath. Each shift into the monster erodes his mind. Rage is all he has left. Then Freya appears at his door. She is the woman he left behind to protect her. Now, her presence is a threat to his remaining control.

They stand close in the flickering torchlight. Every brush of skin against skin pulls at the curse. Freya sees the man beneath the scars, but Eirik only feels the hunger of the creature. He wants her with a ferocity that terrifies them both. The old laws of the beasts are cruel. Love in this world is a death sentence.

Eirik watches the waves crash against the cliffs below. He must decide to drive her away or pull her into his darkness. The transformation is nearly complete. His time as a man is ending. One touch could save him, or it could finally unleash the monster.

Can he hold onto his humanity long enough to keep her?

But every legend of the North begins with a woman chosen for the beast no one else could survive.

Heavy snow muffles the sound of steel in the North. Viking warriors here carry a heavy burden. They are tied to legendary monsters. Each man is more dangerous than the last. These stories explore different beasts. One features a berserker who loses himself in a war-form. Another follows a wolf king in chains who only listens to one woman. You will also meet a creature marked by his enemies. He refuses to let go of his forbidden mate. There is a sea-born terror who takes what he wants from the waves. Finally, a doomed warrior faces a dark change. He might become something inhuman forever.

The air smells of salt and old iron. Power shifts constantly. Instincts clash when desire turns savage. You can read these stories in any order. They are all linked by blood and a sense of belonging. The ice is thin, and the hunger is real. Every warrior is on the edge of a total transformation.

Will they tame the beast or join the hunt?
