I've spent years simply trying to disappear. Don't make waves. Don't be too loud. It's the only way I know how to survive in this cruel, loveless marriage. I never let myself believe there could be a way out, not until he stepped foot on my property. He was only meant to be here to help train one of the horses on this ranch and then leave, but Silas Knight can't see a problem and walk away from it.
