Maggie James is a smart, ambitious, and career driven woman. When she realizes she's stuck in a dead-end job, she dreams of opening her own branding company. After a brutal day at work, a one-night stand with a handsome Russian hockey player feels like just the escape she needs.

Vladi Volkov is the broody starting goalie for the Milwaukee Steel Riders, haunted by a painful past and a strict no-relationships rule.
